I want to thank everyone that
participated in the Ty Longley benefit concert on
Tuesday night at The Key Club. Working together,
we raised $7259.19 for The Ty Longley Memorial Fund.
A special thanks to all of the musicians that performed
in such a difficult and emotional event.

It was truly a wonderful celebration of Ty's life.
Many words were spoken and many tears were shed.
I would also like to thank The Key Club and the
Club Vodka staff for their tireless contributions
at such a difficult time. There was a total of 343
tickets sold at $20.00 each ($6860.00) and a contribution
from Club Vodka for $399.19 for a grand total of
$7259.19. 100% of the door receipts went to the
fund, with no deductions or reimbursements. There
is a complete Ticketmaster audit as well as copies
of the 2 checks on the Club Vodka web site.
Thank you all again.
Sincerely,
Joe Sutton

Re:Ty Longley Memorial Fund
Per our conversation, The Ty Longley Memorial Fund
has established a bank account at City National
Bank. A fictitious business name statement is in
the process of being filed. The FEIN is 56-*******.
Any money being deposited into this account will
be transferred to the Chenango Valley Foundation
and will be distributed from there by the trustees
J. Patrick Longley and Mary P. Fredericksen - Ty
Longley's mother and father.
Per Pat Longley the plan is to establish two funds
with the monies received:
The Scholarship Fund will be the smallest of the
funds and will be used to grant one scholarship
(financial assistance) per year to a deserving student
from the local community. The scholarship would
be between $500 to $1,000 depending on the funds
available. This is established as a way for the
community to remember Ty.
The Trust Fund ("Baby Longley Fund") would hold
the majority of the funds and would be invested
conservatively to generate money for the child when
it attained 18 years of age. It could be used for
college or whatever the child needed at that time.
Pat Longley and Mary Pat Fredericksen would jointly
determine how to allocate the money between the
Scholarship Fund and the Trust Fund based on the
funds available.
The Chenango Valley Foundation has been in operation
almost 20 years and is an umbrella for various charitable
ventures. The funds are invested in conservative
vehicles to assure that the funds value does not
plummet dramatically with stock market fluctuations.
I hope this answers your questions. If you have
any more questions, please feel free to call Pat
or Mary Pat. Pat's phone number is (***) ***-****.
He lives in Ohio and since this is his home phone
it is best to reach him aboout 8 PM. You can also
let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
